"I’ve had this coat, it’s from Urban Outfitters, for three years now… maybe four years. And basically, I guess I’m in love with it because it reminds me of Blood Orange’s ‘Cupid Deluxe’ album. I don’t know if anyone’s seen that album cover? It’s got a very pink background.
"I don’t know why, but there’s something very… romantic almost, very nostalgic about the album. When I was in California wearing this, I had those feelings! Just because the weather is so good out there too. Also the album also made me realise that I don’t hate pink!
"I don’t know why I actually bought it in the very first place, but since I’ve been wearing it that’s how I feel about the coat and it’s my baby. I’ve got many jackets and I collect a lot of jackets, there always great statement pieces for me.
"The other thing that’s quite special about this outfit is my jeans. My friend gave them to me, she’s called Francis, and they are actually old-school Versace jeans. She basically handed them down to me. She said that she doesn’t wear black mom jeans and so I have them now and whenever I wear them I always think about how cool my friend is.
"She has the most amazing clothes so, honestly thank you so much to her for giving me them. Also they’re just my go to pair of mom jeans to wear and they’re really easy to style."
