Flashback: Patricia

Wrap around skirts are somewhat considered a staple in a wardrobe. They are flattering, detailed and overall, a good skirt trend. My aunty, Patricia or Pat for short, is pictured above wearing a silk wrap around skirt. She reckons she was in her mid thirties when this photo was taken, but can't quite remember where.

40 years later, the wrap around skirt still exists, but looks completely different. Although the style is in fashion, this length of skirt is rarely seen anymore, with ankle grazers or mini skirts being the preferred choice.
