"The ring made up of hearts was a gift given to me by my boyfriend when he first came to visit me at uni. It was the first thing he'd ever bought for a girl because I was his first girlfriend. He always buys me jewellery because he knows that I love it and all the pieces are sentimental.

"The other pieces I'm wearing are my birthstone Pandora ring, he bought for me for my 21st birthday, and my necklace was a Christmas present, because he knows I love Vivienne Westwood.

"I have had an ex-boyfriend but it's special because I'm his first ever girlfriend. Everyone always told him he'd never get a girlfriend as he was all about the 'lads' but I guess he met me and fell in love. I've never been a ring person, but since he has bought me them I have never taken them off. When I'm away at uni, they remind me of him when I miss him."
