"My small pendant necklace is a symbol of St Christopher who is the patron saint of travelers. My granddad used to wear the same pendant every day and when he passed away my dad bought me one to remind me of him. I've worn it ever since.
"No one in my family really knows why he wore it but St Christopher is supposed to protect you from any hardships that come your way during life. My granddad had always worn it but we never seemed to ask why. I only wear it because it reminds me of him which probably isn't the same reason he did.
I can't remember him without it.
"My other name necklace was a gift from my mother for Christmas. Me and my sisters all have the same one with our different names on it and we all wear them everyday."
