"I lived 15 doors down the road from my best friend for the majority of my life. Since the age of 11 we've been inseparable. However, three years ago, when I packed up and left for university, that distance stretched to 158 miles and it wasn't easy.
"Then, in the summer of 2015, I fell in love with him - not only was it now a long-distance friendship, but a long-distance relationship.
"But there is a plus side to everything. Whenever he comes to visit me, he always leaves an item of clothing here. It's always completely accidentally, but I feel like there is always a part of him with me. The most recent item that he left was his bomber jacket, and I wear it sometimes when I miss him.
"It might seem really soppy, but when you go from spending every waking minute with someone to seeing them once a month, it really does feel like something is missing. This jacket sort of fills that hole a little bit and I know I always have a piece of him with me - even if it is just an item of clothing to somebody else."
